It's amazing how life changes on you. I hate the change right now. I'm usually a cool cat, and take life how it comes. Not this time. Nope. Right now I'm a ball of terrified goo. Just give me my easy life and silver spoon and I'm good to go.

I was the first member of our gang. Our gang wouldnt have been formed without me. I was the one that talked to Jen first.Yup. Talked about skunks on our way to Indian Village Daycamp 8 years ago. Way back when Lisa Frank was the bomb and fold out sunglasses were cool.

Then I met Sam at school. We had a common "friend" that didnt want us talking, so naturally we finally did talk. From then on out, we were attatched to each other.

I was nervous about putting my two best friends together, cuz I was unsure of how awkward it would be between them. At first it was a little strained, so I was always present when they were together. Pretty soon, I didnt need to worry about it and was relieved.

Then I met Commander/ Emilea. Now, I've hardly seen her at all.  However, we are as close as Sam and I are. The 2nd time I met Emily, we stayed up alllll night and talked about life, and where her life was going, and even where her faith was going. After that it was like talking to a long time friend.

Now we're all headed off into different directions. I'm going into the far reaches of maine. Jen is in Virginia at an all girls school (she's gunna get a makeover!!!! hehe ) and Sam is in Ohio and closer to the guy I love than I probably ever will be. And Commanfer is here.... already taking college classes.

Out of the original trio, I am the last to leave. I didnt even get to say an official goodbye to Sam cuz I thought she wasnt leaving. Stupid loan came in at the last minute. Jen...well... I kinda had a breakdown when saying goodbye. She's my very first best friend, my lesser mother, my big-short sister. GRRR.... ><.... I dont like saying goodbye. I know I'm gunna see them at X-mas, but it's never going to be the same again. It had already started to change this past year, but ... at least I was near enough so I could see them if I wanted.

The hardest part I think, is saying goodbye to my adoptive parents Rob and Steph. Yeh, you guys.... I mean, I went to another country with them, countless ATF trips, went through surgery with them beside me, and a wicked hard life involving my bio father. Yeh, it's gunna be rough saying goodbye.

This is all a bit unusual for me. I'm used to being stronger than this. Now I'm not, and I wish I could be. I can be strong for my family, but one look at Rob and Steph and I have trouble keeping up my mascarade.

I'm used to not seeing Commander, so it's a bit easier that way.  Grrr.... Hate change...
